Ghanaian centre-forward Richmond Gyamfi has joined Egersund from Danish club Aarhus GF on loan, completing a move to the Norwegian OBOS-ligaen side until 31 December 2026.
The 21-year-old, who was born in Accra, moves to Norway after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign with Aarhus. His transfer was completed on 1 September, with the agreement covering the remainder of the calendar year.
Gyamfi joined Aarhus permanently in July 2024 from Hobro IK for €900,000. He had initially moved to Hobro on a free transfer in February 2024, before making the switch to Aarhus later that year.
Since arriving at Aarhus, Gyamfi has also spent time on loan with Hobro and Esbjerg fB. He returned to Aarhus from Esbjerg at the end of June 2026, before departing again for his latest temporary spell with Egersund.
The striker is 1.85m tall and favours his right foot. His primary position is centre-forward, giving Egersund an attacking player who operates through the middle rather than from a wide role.
Gyamfi’s move comes with his market value listed at €500,000. He joins Egersund with the club’s agreement scheduled to end at the close of 2026, when he is due to return to Aarhus GF.
The transfer adds another chapter to a career that has so far included spells in Denmark with Hobro, Aarhus and Esbjerg. His move to Egersund is his latest loan transfer and takes him into Norwegian football for the first time.
Gyamfi is now an Egersund player on loan from Aarhus GF until 31 December 2026.
