Guinness Brewery Worldwide has named Guinness Ghana Limited (GGL) as winner of the 1996/97 Top Award for Excellence in Quality in Africa.
A certificate to that effect was presented to GGL at the board meeting held in Kumasi recently. A statement from GGL said the company’s achievement in winning the prestigious award is the direct result of heavy investments made last year in new plants and in training as well as upgrading the skills of its employees.
The award won by GGL is given annually by Guinness Brewery Worldwide to the best African, most quality-conscious Guinness brewing facility on the continent.
