GRTCC condemns Police action at Ashiaman

Accra, June 4, GNA – The Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) on Wednesday condemned Police brutality and killings of innocent people on Tuesday at Ashiaman near Accra.

A release signed by Nana Danso Atekoasa Agyemang, Acting Chairman of GRTCC said the Council observed with shock and dismay the continuous maltreatment of commercial drivers by the Police. It said; “The Police of late act unprofessionally, especially towards commercial drivers.”

The GRTCC, however, called on its members to remain calm whilst the leadership pursue the matter to its logical conclusion.
