Groups advised to embark on impactful projects

The Public Relations Officer of the National Chief Imam, Alhaji Khuzaima Osman on Saturday April 2, 2016, encouraged the Tijjaniya groups in the country to compete with each other on projects that will make positive impacts in Tijjaniya, the Muslim communities and the country at large.

Alhaji Khuzaima made the statement at sod cutting ceremony of Tijjaniya University at Asokore in the Sekyere East District of Ashanti Region.

He added, Tijjaniya Ghana under the leadership of the National Chief Imam Dr. Alhaji Osman Nuhu Shaributu and the President of Tijjaniya Ghana (Zeeamul Harkatu Tijjaniya) Sheik Imam Abdul Wadud Haroun Ciessey have prioritised education and will do their possible best to provide infrastructure and scholarships to help improve education in the Zongo communities.

The Asokoremanhene, Nana Susubiribi Krobea Asante commended Tijjaniya Ghana for quickly embarking on the university project after setting up Tijjaniya High School just some few years ago.

He further advised the parents both in and out of the Zongo communities especially in Asokore and it’s environs to take advantage of this educational projects in order to get their wards educated.
