‘Greedy people’ have taken over my BOST deal – A-Plus

Musician Kwame A-Plus has said the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has not given him business for the past four months following his exposé of some alleged corrupt deal at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital involving the two deputy chiefs of staff.

In a video post on Facebook, A-Plus said: “People will come on Facebook and ask me: ‘When are you going to cancel your BOST contract?’

“Look, I won’t spend petrol to walk to a place where they stopped giving me business four months ago. Me, I was just not talking. Four months ago, they are not giving me business and you want me to walk there and waste petrol and go and cancel when the people themselves have cancelled it or whatever and some greedy people have taken over. Me I don’t even want [it]” he said.

According to A-Plus, “Nobody can stop me, from A to Z”, adding that he will not stop criticising his own party and wondered why the government has been silent on corruption allegations levelled against the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister.

“It has been weeks since the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister has been accused of being corrupt … and Ghana is very quiet, nobody is talking, nobody has asked anybody to go to CID, CID has not invited anybody … so what happened? I’ve been waiting to hear what will happen if it’s Kwame A-Plus Ghana will come to a halt, the media, everybody”.
