Greater Accra Regional Minister inaugurates projects

Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has inaugurated eight projects in the Ada West District to improve the standard of living of the people.

The projects are an Assembly hall with adjoining offices at Sege, four offices for the District Assembly, an eight-unit teachers’ quarters at Koluedor, another four-unit teachers’ quarters and a pavilion at Madavunu.

The rest are CHPS compound at Caesarkope and Afiadenyigba, a teachers’ quarters at Dorgobom, and a three-unit Junior High School Classroom block at Luhuor.

Mr. Afotey Agbo also inspected three on-going projects; an office project for the Assembly at Sege, a Magistrate’s Court and a Police Station in the District.

Addressing the media, the Regional Minister said the projects, which were all funded by the Government, were quick interventions within the Sege area to boost development.

He said such basic facilities motivated workers to work efficiently in the rural areas.

“We are on course, as much as we cannot solve all, with what we have done, my heart is at peace,” he said.

Mr. Afotey Agbo, however, urged the community members to support the development process in their areas and also to maintain the facilities well.
