Grave looters strike at Kraboa-Coaltar

Kraboa-Coaltar (E/R), Aug. 23, GNA – The dead are not resting in peace at the Kraboa-Coaltar cemetery in the Eastern Region as a syndicate of grave looters have decided to deny the dead the little that relatives gave to them to use in the world beyond.

Nana Acheamponmaa, a Priestess in the town, whose relative’s grave had been desecrated, took the Ghana News Agency to the cemetery to see the handiwork of the looters.

The Nkosuohene of Kraboa-Coaltar, Nana Awuku pleaded with the youth of the town to help to track down the looters saying that he believed some people had been contracted to undertake the job.
