Graduate students to demonstrate over unpaid thesis allowance

Graduate students are expected to picket at the Flagstaff House,on September 21, 2016 to press home their demands.

The students, under the umbrella body of Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) want President John Dramani Mahama to ensure the swift payment of their overly delayed bursary and thesis allowance for the 2015/2016 academic year.

The intended picketing at the seat of Government, according to a statement signed and released by the President of GRASAG, Nana Kwame Asafo-Adjei Ayeh, will bring together graduate students from all the ten regions of the country.

The decision, statement added, was arrived at a senate meeting held on September 201, 2016, and which was represented by all member institutions.
