GPRTU settles impasse with metro bus

Cape Coast, Nov.25, GNA-The University of Cape Coast campus branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), has expressed regret over an attempt by some members of the Union to sabotage the operations of the metro transport buses.

Mr Patrick Amissah told the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Cape Coast on Wednesday that the branch had rendered an apology to the university authorities for the incident.

He suggested the need to relocate a new station for the metro buses to create congenial business relations between the two transport operators.

The Estate Officer of the UCC, Mr Dominic Barimah told the GNA that the University authorities had already moved the metro station 100 metres away from its original location.
