GPHA donates to Frafraha orphanage

Frafraha, March 04, GNA – The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) on Thursday presented food items to the Christ Faith Foster Home at Frafraha in Accra for the upkeep of the inmates.

The items, including cooking oil, spegatti, minerals, canned foods, beans, and fruits were donated to the GPHA by the crew of the “MV Boronudur”, an Indonesian Expedition ship that berthed at the Tema port two weeks ago on a cultural promotion voyage.

Presenting the items, Mrs Esther Gyebi-Donkor, Marketing Manager of the GPHA, asked the authorities of the Home to use the items for the purpose for which they were presented.

Receiving the items, Madam Victoria Abraham, Supervisor of the home expressed gratitude to GPHA and appealed to philanthropists and organisations to support the Home.

She said also appealed to individuals, organisations and government to help solve the water problem facing the Home.

Present was Ms Danielle Ecubank, an artist and a crew member of the vessel who said the vessel started sailing from home about eight months ago on trading, and cultural expedition to promote the cultural activities of their country.
