GPHA donates Computer to GBC.

Tema, Aug. 10, GNA — The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), on Thursday presented one computer and accessories worth 18.1 million cedis to the Tema branch of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). The donation, which was in response to a request made to the Management of GPHA by the Tema branch of GBC in March this year is to assist the Tema office in its operations.

Presenting the computer, Mr Peter Sabia, Senior Public Relations Officer of GPHA in-charge of the Tema Port, said the request was in the right direction because it enabled GPHA to fulfill its policy of assisting institutions such as GBC, to contribute effectively to national development.

Mr Agyare Debra, Tema Regional Director of GBC received the item on behalf of the corporation and thanked the donor for the wonderful gesture.

Mr Debra hoped the gift would help strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the two institutions, and gave the assurance that it would be put to good use.
