Govt urged to help improve lives of Ghanaians

Nkoranza (B/A), Jan. 5, GNA – Pastor Kofi Arhin, Nkoranza Area Head Pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has appealed to the government to initiate policies and programmes that would bring improvement in the lives of Ghanaians.

He called for unity among Ghanaians irrespective of political inclination to facilitate national development. Pastor Arhin said this at a four-day retreat of the church, which was under the theme: “Entering the highway to the promised land”, at Nkoranza and attended by more than 1000 members. He said it was not right for some politicians to blame either the present or past governments for the hardships that Ghanaians are going through and that unless such attitude was stopped Ghana would continue to lag behind in development.

Pastor Philip Ankomah, in-charge of the Nkoranza branch of the church urged members to live above reproach as role models in their communities and not to allow the pleasures of the world to enslave them. Pastor Ankomah appealed to the youth to their education seriously to achieve high academic laurels.
