Gov’t Intent On Improving Conditions In Rural Areas – Assemblyman

Offinso (Ashanti Region), 13 Sept., It is the genuine desire of the government to improve the quality of life of the people and enhance economic growth in rural communities to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas. Mr. J. K. Adjei, Assemblyman for Amaning electoral area in the Offinso District said this when he interacted with the people on the need to embark on community-initiated projects. He said the provision of certain infrastructure facilities and social amenities in the rural areas is a testimony of the government’s commitment to improve the living conditions of the people. He urged traditional rulers and the various development committees to mobilize the people for self-help projects to speed up the development of the area. Mr. Adjei called on the people to discern the truth from falsehood and show transparency in their dealings to forestall conflicts.
