Govt delegation leaves for Cardinal Turkson’s consecration

Accra, Oct 20, GNA – Mr Joseph Henry Mensah, Senior Minister, on Sunday led a five-member delegation to Rome to attend the consecration ceremony of Ghana’s Cardinal-Designate, Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson.

A Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement said the other members of the delegation were Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Commission on Culture, Professor George Hagan, President of Association of Ghana Industries, Mr Elisabeth Villars and Ms Mary Mensah.

The consecration ceremony would take place from the October 21 to October 22.

The delegation is due back home on Thursday, Octobers 23, the statement said.
