Gov’t declares July 28 a public holiday

The Ministry of the Interior has declared Monday, July 28, 2014 as a Public Holiday.

A statement signed by Kwesi Ahwoi, Minister for the Interior on Monday said the day marks the celebration of Eidul Fitr.

“The general public is hereby reminded that Monday 28 July, 2014, which marks the celebration of Eidul-Fitr is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.”
