Gov’t approves funds for tarring of roads in Bisease

Ajumako Bisease (C/R) July 23, GNA – The government has approved GHC500.000 for the tarring of the two-kilometer road network and construction of drains in the Bisease township. Mr Ato Forson, the Member of Parliament for the area, and Mr Peter Light Koomson, the District Chief Executive, made this known to the people when they met with the executive of the Bisease Development Fund at Ajumako Bisease.

The MP appealed to the people to cooperate with the contractor to complete the projects on schedule.

Mr Forson said plans were far advanced for construction of some classroom blocks for the Roman Catholic A & B Schools and appealed to the chiefs to provide adequate land for the commencement of the project. Mr Koomson appealed to Ghanaians to unite and work towards the development of the country.

He said the assembly had plans to provide Bisease with a modern market and lorry park and appealed to the people to make land ready for them. The Chairman of the Development Fund, Mr John James Amoah, gave the assurance that the people would cooperate to ensure the early completion of the projects. Earlier the DCE and MP with the district engineer inspected the condition of the roads. 23 July 09
