Gov’t appointees to Assin North Municipal Assembly replaced

All the fourteen (14) government appointees to the Assin North Municipal Assembly have been removed.

Their removal is in accordance with Section 9(6) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.

A statement signed by the Minister for Local Government & Rural Development, Hon. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, said President John Mahama has appointed fourteen new persons to the assembly as government appointees.

They are:1. Musah Fuseini 2. Kofi Nii Ocansey3. Nana Afranse IV4. Osmanu Ibrahim 5. Agartha Yawson 6. Andrews K. Kwaning 7. Asumang Nkansah 8. Martin Addo9. Joseph Kofi Tawiah 10. James Amoah-Kuttin11. Nana Kwaantwi Kumah II12. Acquarius Odam Manarh13. Seidu Adams 14. Mercy Obeng.
