Government wishes Mumuni speedy recovery

Accra, Sept. 28, GNA – The Government on Tuesday expressed shock at the news of the road accident involving Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni, Running Mate of the Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and wished him a speedy recovery.

A statement signed by Nana Akomea, Minister of Information, said the government had learnt with deep regret and shock the terrible car accident coming on the heels of the announcement of his nomination. The statement said Government stood ready to do all it could to help Alhaji Mumuni to get well quickly.

Alhaji Mumuni, who was involved in a car accident earlier in the day, is on admission at the 37 Military Hospital.
