Mr Kwadwo Afram Asiedu, Eastern Regional Minister, said the hike in food prices was a globalize issue, yet government out of concern for his people had instituted measures to mitigate their suffering. He said though government might not have fulfilled all it promises to the people, yet it had achieved enough and urged the people to keep faith with the government.
