Government, PTA, Assist Kwanyarko Senoir High School

The government of Ghana has embarked on three GETFund projects in the Kwanyarko Senior High School within the Agona East District in the Central Region.
One out of the three (3) projects is almost complete and is now housing about 140 students in the school thereby reducing the problem of accommodation for student intake in the school.

The other two (2) projects, one boys’ dormitory and one girls’ dormitory are still under construction.

An insider who refused to disclosed the identity gave the information when talking to the Herald, and while expressing gratitude to the government, further made an appeal to the Government to released money to the GETFund to complete the rest of the projects.

The insider continued by saying that the government has also provided the school with 50 Laptop which forms part of the government contribution to the computerization and Information Communication Technology (ICT) Development in the education system.
The insider commended the government for the provision of 110 double decker beds to the school and further stated that they would need a lot of classrooms should the government come to their aid.
Concluding the satisfactory remarks on projects in the school, the insider made mention of a three (3) storey building which is being put up by the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) and it worth over 500,000 Ghana Cedis.
The three storey facility would be a dormitory for the boys and each floor would have a house master who would reside in the building with the students.
This would help to ensure discipline and unauthorized breaking of bounds by recalcitrant students.
