Government appointees for Adaklu-Anyigbe Assembly sworn in

Kpetoe, Feb. 23, GNA – Four government appointees were sworn into office of the Adaklu-Anyigbe District Assembly on Monday. They were Madam Casia Kporku, Mr Alfred Odikro, all from Kpetoe, Mr Dorpe Samuel Atormey, Adaklu-Waya and Togbe Bina Lawluvi IV of Ziope. The Ho District court magistrate, Mr Yaw Atta Sampon, who swore in the appointees, urged them to fight for the interest of the district and its people.

Mr Francis Kwaku, outgoing Presiding Member of the Assembly congratulated the appointees and declared his position as vacant and urged interested persons to file their nominations with the office of the Electoral Commission before March 09, this year. Mr Kwaku was subsequently chosen together with Madam Florence Sedode to represent the Assembly at the Regional Electoral College to elect the regional representative to the Council of State.
