Government absorbs registration fees for BECE candidates

The Government of Ghana under the leadership of Nana Addicted Dankwwa Akufo-Addo has announced absorbing the registration fees of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates for the year 2018.

However, the gesture will be beneficial to only candidates from the various public schools spread across the country who are expecting to register from November 13 December 15, 2017.

Each candidate was expected to pay GHC75.00 for the 2018 exams.

Candidates from the private schools as well as those who will be re-sitting as private candidates are exempted from this facility.

This was contained in a statement dated November 6, 2017, and signed and released in Accra by Mrs. W. Addy-Lamptey on behalf of the Head of National Office with copies circulated to all the 216 Districts Assemblies.
