Tema, July 29, GNA – The Good News Church at Tema Community 12 in the Greater Accra Region has organised its annual International Youth Fellowship (IYF) world camp on the theme: 93Encouraging the Youth for Volunteerism.”
The camp meeting, which started on July 21 and ended on July 29, originated from South Korea to promote the spirit of volunteerism and transform the hearts and minds of the youth through games, sports and academic activities.
Pastor Ock Soo Park, Founder of IYF told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that a number of university students who attended the camp volunteered their services to facilitate the improvement of the society, which he said is one of the greatest pillars on which the church stands. He preached about the gospel of freedom from spiritual bondage, adding that the blood of Christ has emancipated mankind from sin.
