Gomoa West DCE donates laptop computer to association

Apam (C/R), June 1, GNA – Mr Thophilus Aidoo-Mensah, Gomoa West District Chief Executive, has donated a laptop computer value at GH¢1,200 to Jobank Technological Technocracy Company, an Information Communication Technology service provider based at Gomoa Mozano in the Gomoa West District. Making the donation at his office at Apam, Mr Aidoo-Mensah said the donation was in fulfilment of a promise he made to the company when he attended a graduation ceremony organized for some trainees in Computer Literacy at Mozano. The DCE said the company appealed to the gathering to donate computers to the company to enable it to train more people in computer literacy. He commended the leadership of the company for the services they had been rendering to the people in the area, and appealed to the youth to take advantage of their services to become computer literate. Mr Joel Baah, Executive Director of the Company, who received the donation on behalf of the company, thanked the DCE for fulfilling the pledge. Mr Baah stressed on the importance of computer literacy in modern Ghana and said very soon it would be difficult for a person without knowledge in computer education to get employment in the country. He appealed to the youth to enrol with the company. He also appealed for more support for the company.
