Gomoa Mozano Senior Secondary School wins debate

Apam (C/R), Nov.8, GNA – Gomoa Mozano Senior Secondary School emerged winners in a special independence anniversary schools debate with 208 points.

Apam Senior Secondary School took the second position with 205 points followed by Gomoa Potsin T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior Secondary School with 203 points.

Apam charity International Senior Secondary School took the fourth position with 196 points.

The debate was organised by the Gomoa District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to select a school to represent the district in the Central Regional debate in Cape Coast as part of the 49th Independence Anniversary celebration next year. Mr. Paul K. Incoom, Assistant Director of Education in the district who supervised the debate commended the participants for their high performance.

He advised the students to read to gain more knowledge and also ensure high sense of discipline among them. In another development, Awutu Obrachire Senior Secondary Technical beat Winneba Senior Secondary School in a similar debate to represent the Awutu-Effutu-Senya district.
