Gomoa District Assembly donates to Dawurampong Secondary School

Gomoa Dawurampong, July 18, GNA – The Gomoa District Assembly has donated 100 bags of cement and three packets of roofing sheets worth 8 million cedis to the Dawurampong Secondary Technical School. Ms Joyce Aidoo, District Chief Executive, who presented the items, appealed to the school’s authorities to use the materials to improve the school’s infrastructure. She appealed to the Parent Teacher Association and the school authorities to embark on an enrolment drive to increase the school’s population that stood at 700. Mr Harry Hayford, Headmaster of the school, who received the items appealed to the government to support the school to improve its infrastructure to facilitate teaching and learning. He also asked the authorities to turn the institution into a boarding one as most of the students traveled long distances to school.
