Golden Tulip names manager for Kumasi hotel

Accra, Feb. 18, GNA – Golden Tulip on Monday announced the appointment of Mr. Andreas Tscherning as General Manager of Golden Tulip Kumasi City. A statement in Accra said Mr Tscherning, 36, joined Golden Tulip recently and prior to his appointment had held several senior positions in Switzerland, Vietnam, Algeria, Rwanda and Tunisia. The hotel is owned by Ghana Libyan Arab Holding Company Ltd. (GLAHCO). Golden Tulip now operates two hotels in Ghana; the other one being Golden Tulip Accra. Mr Tscherning, born in Stockholm, Sweden, is a graduate of the Ecole Hoteli=E8re de Lausanne in Switzerland with a Master in Business Administration has a 10 year track record in the International Hotel Industry holding senior positions at various hotels. These include Hotel Royal in Crans Montana, Switzerland, the Sheraton Club des Pins Resort & Towers in Algiers, Algeria, Hotel des Mille Collines in Kigali, Rwanda and the M=F6venpick Ulysse palace & Thalasso in Djerba, Tunesia.
