God’s Power Prayer Camp initiates projects

The God’s Power Prayer Camp Church is to construct a hospital and a school to cater for the health and educational needs of the poor and the needy in the society.

The church has acquired a three-acre plot of land at Winneba Junction in the Central Region for the project, which would be financed through voluntary contributions and fund raising activities.

Prophet Akwasi Asamoah, the General Overseer, disclosed this at the launch of a five-day revival of the church at Madina-Bohye in Accra, on Wednesday.

The revival, which is aimed at praying for peace and stability of the nation, would begin on Wednesday, June 24 and end on Sunday, June 28.

Prophet Asamoah said the church, as its social responsibility, would soon establish an orphanage home.

He said it was the policy of the church to ensure that Ghanaians enjoy peace at all times.

“It is only if there is peace in the country that you can go about your normal work”, he said, adding that, Ghana is a peaceful country and it should be sustained.

The General Overseer appealed to religious leaders to desist from all forms of negative tendencies, which tends to bring the clergy into disrepute.

He urged the youth to be addicted to the word of God, which he said, was the surest way of succeeding in life.
