God will do new things in 2017 – Reverend John Nii Yartey

Reverend John Nii Yartey, the Catechist of the Royal Priesthood, Abeka Presbyterian Church in Accra, assured the congregation that God is going to exalt them and do new things in their lives this year.

Sharing his words of exhortation at the watch night service on December 31, he said the New Year would bring forth new ideas and solutions to problems.

He said God would restore everything that the members lost in the past years, adding: “if things did not go well with you in 2016, it does not mean it will repeat itself in 2017. God will restore your finance, your marriage, work and everything you need.”

“God said he will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, and that is the new thing he will do in your life,” he added.

Rev Yartey said there was nothing that too hard for God. “He is able to do everything and things will get better this year “.

“As you experience the Holy Ghost in your life in 2017 things will change for better.”

The church entered into a long hours of prayers after the exhortation through to the New Year.

The congregation clad in white prayed for Ghana, the leaders, the sick, needy and other churches.
