Goat thief remanded into custody

Juaso (Ash), Jan 1, GNA-A man at Agogo, who stole seven goats valued at 2.5 million cedis from a pen and managed to sell them to some people to celebrate Christmas, has been remanded into custody by the Juaso circuit court.

Kwame Kusasi whose plea was not taken, will re-appear on January 14. The prosecution told the court presided over by Mr John Boon that towards Christmas, Kusasi stole seven goats from the pen of the complainant at Agogo and sold them to some individuals.

When the complainant realised the loss of his goats, he made his own investigations and identified the missing goats with a number of people who bought them and caused their arrest. According to the prosecution, those arrested managed to cause the arrest of Kusasi on December 28 at Agogo.
