Under this heaven, strange things would never cease to occur. An adventurous goat was pictured standing close to a chomped poster of President Mahama in the Western Region.
Peacefmonline.com can’t validate if the blemish caused to the poster was masterminded by the goat, but Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has blamed the goat for the action.
The strange incident happened at Tarkwa Nsuem Municipal in the Western Region and Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi, claims he saw the goat angrily causing damage to the poster of the president.
“I was in the Western Region to campaign for my party and I never saw this coming. It was very strange to me to see a goat chomping poster. I visited few houses in the municipality and it was during the visits that I saw a goat doing this for the first time”, he said.
When Peacefmonline.com inquired from Chairman Wontumi what the action of the goat meant to him, he stated that “this is to warn electorates that domestic animals would not even be happy to go through another hardship under President Mahama. He shouldn’t be given another chance to rule”.
He added that there is power in the tongue and whatever people say about their lives generates an effect on them.
“If you have a president who classifies himself as a dead goat, what should we expect? Live goats would attack him”, he said.
