GNP holds Regional conference

Ho April 9, GNA– The Volta Region branch of the Ghana National Party (GNP), last Tuesday held its regional conference at Ho, at which nine executives were retained by popular acclamation and sworn into office.

They included Mr Simon K. Dewotor, chairman, Mr Kofi Kusi, secretary, Mr Felix Aduadjoe, organiser, Nana Kofi Ampadu, treasurer, Madam Celestine Adaglagya, women organizer, and Mr Emmanuel Dorpenyo, propaganda secretary.

Mr Dewotor thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in the executives and pledged that they would work hard to enable the party work hard to win seats in the region. He asked the constituency executives to be conversant with the party’s constitution and to intensify their electioneering campaign so that floating voters could vote for the GNP. Mr Samuel Tsekpo, a founding member of the party, was present at the event.
