Accra, Jan. 13,GNA – The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) on Thursday congratulated President John Agyekum Kufuor on his re-election and inauguration to serve another four-year term. In a congratulatory message, Professor Yaw Adu-Gyamfi, President of the Association, said GMA was confident that under the continuing leadership of President Kufuor there would be significant gains in the national economy.
“We hope the Health Sector will witness accelerated improvement in the Human Resource Base following the improved conditions of service for doctors and other health workers.”
The statement gave the assurance that the GMA would continue to support the Government in its effort at bringing improved healthcare delivery to Ghanaians especially through the National Heath Insurance Scheme.
