Gloria Akuffo Eye Gizo’s Seat

Deputy Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Gloria Akuffo and the Dangbe-West District Chief Executive, Mr. K. T. K. Agban, have started campaigns aimed at out-doing the other when the two political giants meet at the Shai-Osudoku primaries later in the year.

Sources at the party’s regional secretariat have already confirmed that D.C.E Agban has filed his nomination to contest the primaries and has deposited a cool ?5 million in that regard.

Miss Akuffo also met some party executives from the constituency at her office where she made clear her intentions to contest the seat, which is likely to be vacated by the incumbent, Mr. Mike Gizo of the NDC.
