Global Outreach Ministry holds revival

Accra, July 14, GNA – Apostle Martin Anie-Amoah, General Overseer of the Global Outreach and Apostolic Ministry, Ghana, has called on politicians to let their utterances promote peace and development. He said as the elections were over, there was the need for politicians to unite and work together as a team for accelerated growth. Apostle Anie-Amoah made the call at the opening of a six-day revival of the ministry at Dome near Accra on Tuesday. About 500 members of the church are attending the revival which is under the theme; “Latter Rain”.

Apostle Anie-Amoah said unity played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that without it, there would be no development.

“A nation without unity comes under threat,” he said, and that it was only through unity of purpose that a nation could achieve her aim. The General Overseer advised parents to take proper care of their children to enable them to grow to become useful citizens. He advised the youth to desist from the get-rich-quick attitude, concentrate on their education and be addicted to the work of God to enable them to succeed.

Apostle Anie-Amoah advised drivers not to drive under the influence of alcohol, which he said, was the major cause of road accidents. He expressed the hope that the participants would be equipped spiritually to enable them to withstand the challenges ahead. 14 July 09
