GJA to honour two former presidents of the Association

Accra, Nov. GNA – The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) on Thursday said it would honour two of its former presidents during this year’s Annual Congress scheduled for November 13 at the Ghana International Press Centre.

A statement by the association signed by Mr Bright Kwame Blewu, General Secretary, said Mr Kabral Blay-Amihere, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Sierra Leone and Mrs Gifty Affenyi-Dadzie, Immediate Past President, would be honoured for their tremendous efforts in making the Ghana International Press Centre project a reality. It invited all paid-up members of the Association to attend the congress, which would seek their mandate to make amendments to the GJA Constitution.

The Congress would discuss the report on the activities of the Association for the past year.
