Former Trade Minister , Alan Kyeremanten, has assured Ghanaians that an Akufo-Addo government will make job creation its main focus .
He explained that the main idea behind the ‘One district, one factory’ is to offer job opportunities across the country and to “ bring jobs to your doorstep.”
Speaking to hundreds of party supporters at Saboginda in Tamale Wednesday , Mr Kyeremanten indicated that the policy will also help curb the rural-urban migration as many young people will have easy access to job opportunities within their districts
Overwhelmed by the huge crowd at Wednesday ‘s rally , the thrice defeated flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party wished that elections were held today ,adding that , Nana Akufo Addo would definitely cruise to victory if that were the case .
Alan Kyeremanteng charged the NDC to avoid using infrastructure to garner for votes, because every government has something to exhibit when it comes to ‘infrastructure records’.
He said the ruling party should concentrate on job creation to alleviate extereme poverty in the country .
