A nine-year-old girl has reportedly drowned in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra in Tuesday’s early morning downpour.
It is unclear the circumstances that led to her drowning.
The rains which started Tuesday dawn has left the capital flooded.
Commuters have been left stranded in many bus terminals in Accra as commercial drivers appear reluctant to move their vehicles in the rain.
