A 19-year-old girl and resident from Jinigini Kofi in the Bia East district of the Western region took her own life shortly after she reportedly exchanged words with her father.
Narrating the incident to Nyankonton Mu Nsem, our reporter Sir Joe explained that, the deceased was confronted by the father over her relationship with her fiancée.
The deceased, Constance Amankwaa our reporter noted was advised to end her relationship with the boy because he was lazy.
However, she insisted that she would not end the relation as the father had requested.
The father had also warned that he would not take responsibility for her upkeep if she refuse to adhere to his advice, a situation Sir Joe added informed the deceased decision to take her own life. She was found dead in her room after she had threatened to kill herself.
