A 17 – year- old girl, Esther Yeboah, has been stabbed by her boyfriend for telling her parents their whereabouts after they eloped from Akwapim Oboban to Prestea some nine months ago.
The mother of one said, she was always being assaulted by the boyfriend who is currently at large.
The two love lovebirds fled from Akwapim Oboban in the Eastern Region to Prestea in the Western Region to enjoy their relationship following disapproval from the girl’s parents and some elders. However, Esther, who could not bear the constant beatings from the violent boyfriend finally revealed their hideouts to her mother.
The violent boyfriend, who was not pleased with the idea, subjected Esther to severe beatings and stabbed her multiple times at the back, head, mouth and leg.
The boyfriend is currently at large.
