Girl, 17, says father is responsible for her pregnancy

17-year-old girl of Abonko near Mankessim in the Central Region is accusing her father, Kwame Alhassan, a driver, of being responsible for her pregnancy.

Although her father denies that he is responsible for the pregnancy, the victim insists her father slept with her the first day he took her from her mother’s house to stay with him at a hotel in Akyem Swedru in the Eastern Region.

The victim told Atinka News that since age 12, her father had always demanded sex from her at knife-point and she obliged.

An Uncle of the victim Kwaku Bronya corroborated the girl’s story.

Meanwhile, the accused, Kwame Alhassan denies the allegation but said his daughter is seeking to break his home since he is no longer married to her mother.
