Ghana’s political parties should ensure peace

The Center for Ghanaian Progress is a policy think tank which aims to work on supplying analytical research and professional information and on human rights and democracy in Ghana.

As Ghana probably nears election time in some few months, the Center for Ghanaian Progress urges all political parties, leaders and citizens of the country to strive to maintain peace, co-existence and dignity in the nation.

It is only through conducting peaceful events and arrangements that outcomes of those events will produce benefits for national development.

It is therefore with great desire that peace and stability should be maintained in the country. Peace, positive democracy and stability will be a great honor to the fallen ancestors like JB Danquah, Kwame Nkrumah, Paa Willie, Obetsebi Lamptey etc who worked so hard to make Ghana a free nation.

God bless Ghana!
