Ghanaian striker Kwasi Osei Bonsu has signed for Belgian club SK Roeselare, sealing a move from RFC Tournai ahead of the new season.
The 22-year-old forward joins the ambitious Belgian side after an eventful journey through European and Middle Eastern football, having previously played in Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates.
Bonsu, who came through the youth systems of top Belgian sides Gent, Zulte Waregem, and Oostende, is no stranger to Belgian football. His time abroad included a stint at Bulgarian outfit Bdin Vidin and a spell at Green Herons FC in Dubai, where he gained valuable experience and maturity.
Known for his explosive pace and eye for goal, Bonsu impressed during his time at RFC Tournai, catching the attention of Roeselare scouts. The move is seen as a key addition to the club’s attacking options as they build for a promotion push.
While he has yet to make his debut for Ghana at the senior level, his progress is being quietly monitored back home.
SK Roeselare, once a regular name in Belgian top-flight football, have been rebuilding steadily in recent years, and the addition of Bonsu signals their intent to return to the spotlight.
