Ghana’s democracy is on the ascendancy – Chief

Kumasi, Jan. 8, GNA – Ghana has significantly moved ahead towards concretizing its democratic dispensation, Nana Bobie Ansah II, Chief of Bonwire in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality has noted. According to him, the smooth transfer of power from one democratically elected government to another was a clear indication of promising democracy in the country. Nana Bobie said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Thursday.

He said the improvement of Ghana’s democracy was indeed an example for other countries on the African continent to emulate. He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to join hands with the new Government to promote unity and stability in the country. The chief observed that there must be positive comportment from all Ghanaians to facilitate development.

He reminded President Evans Atta-Mills to fulfil his promise of an all-inclusive government. Nana Bobie congratulated the other opposition parties for conducting themselves well during the polls.
