Ghanaians will judge me on job creation – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo says the success of his leadership at the end of his tenure will be hinged on Job creation.

Mr Akufo-Addo in the run up to the 2016 general elections promised the creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs for the teeming masses of unemployed Ghanaian youth.

Speaking of a cross section of the media at his maiden engagement with Journalists Tuesday, the President said: “I’m well aware that the success or otherwise of my administration will be judged largely on Job creation.”

He thus cited lack of jobs for the youth as the single biggest challenge facing the country and indicated his readiness to create the avenue for massive boost in Jobs for the teeming youth.

One of such big plans, according to the President is the National Entrepreneurship and Innovations Plan (NEIP), his government’s flagship initiative, which will be the primary vehicle for providing an integrated, national support for start-ups and small businesses.
