Ghanaians urged to wage war on corruption

Akurabuokrom (Ash), March 19, GNA – A Catholic Bishop as appealed to Ghanaians to fight all forms of vices that tended to destroy the moral and social fabric of the country.

Most Reverend Gabriel Justice Anokye, Auxiliary Catholic Bishop of Kumasi who said this at Akurabuokrom near Nyinahin in the Atwima-Mponua District, said corruption, backbiting, rumour mongering and indiscriminate sex impeded the country’s development. He was on a pastoral visit to the Atwima-Mponua District.

Most Rev. Anokye urged them to resist temptation. He prayed for a peaceful election and called on political leaders to refrain from mudslinging and the vilification of political opponents since that could only breed disunity, rancour and enmity.
