Nkawkaw, March 15, GNA – Mr Seth Adjei-Baa, an independent parliamentary candidate contesting for the Nkawkaw constituency, has called on Ghanaians to put the previous disappointments and failures from politicians behind them and vote for responsible and reliable candidates to lead them in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
He expressed regret that most politicians made vain and outrageous promises to the electorate to win power only to abandon them to their fate after being elected into office.
Mr Adjei-Baa, who is the Managing Director of Shaaba Enterprise, urged all eligible voters in the constituency to register massively during the replacement of the voters register to enable them vote for him in the December elections.
He assured the electorate that he would work closely with the government in power for the constituency to obtain its fair share of the national cake in development.
Mr Adjei-Baa said he had been assisting individuals, communities, health and educational institutions in the Kwahu area over the past 13 years and cited the rehabilitation and equipping of the male ward of the Government Hospital at Atibie.
He said he had awarded scholarships to a number of needy girl students, organised free medical care for rural communities and offered training in batik, tie-and-dye skills to over 1,000 youths free of charge.
Mr Adjei-Baa said he would establish a factory to process citrus and pineapple in the area for local consumption and export. He called on the electorate in the area to vote for him since “I am the best candidate to effect the real positive change in your living conditions.”
