Ghanaians urged to make the jubilee celebration benefit the poor

Bunso (E/R), Jan. 15, GNA – The National Chairman of the Great Commission Church International, Reverend Joseph Kwabena Antwi, has appealed to the rich not to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the country alone but to ensure that the poor also benefit from the celebration. Rev. Antwi was preaching at the end of the six-day national delegates’ meeting of the General Council of the church at Bunso on Sunday.

Some 110 delegates from all over the country attended the meeting and it was organized under the theme “release your faith now and press on to victory”.

In a resolution adopted by the meeting, the leadership of the church urged branches of the church to mobilize the members to actively participate in all clean-up exercises organized in their areas. The church also urged its branches to participate in all activities organized towards the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the country.
