Ghanaians urged to be courageous.

The Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Methodist Church, The Right Reverend Michael Bossman, has assured the nation that the post election developments being witnessed in the country would not lead to any violence.

He said God’s favour was upon Ghana and would not allow destruction to befall the country and urged Ghanaians to glorify God for his favour.

Rt. Rev. Bossman was speaking at the Second Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols Night organized by members of the Adweso Circuit branch of the Association of Methodist Church Choir at the Adweso Calvary Methodist Church near Koforidua on Sunday.

He said that many people were initially apprehensive that the December 7 elections would lead to violence but by the Grace of God, the polls went on peacefully.

He explained that the post election arguments, disagreements and threats by some aggrieved political parties to go to court are all issues necessary to entrench the country’s young democracy.

Bishop Bossman urged Ghanaians to be courageous and not to allow fear to suppress their success, be sensitive to the needs of each other and have the spirit of anticipation and hope, that God would always honour His promise to His people at the right time.

He advised Ghanaians to use the Christmas season to give thanks to God for His grace upon the country, families and individuals.
