Ghanaians urged to avoid indecent language in media

Kumasi, Dec 21, GNA – Wulugu Naba Pugansoa Naa Professor John .S. Nabila, President of the National House of Chiefs (NHC), has appealed to Ghanaians to avoid the use of indecent and intemperate language in both the print and electronic media.

He said as chiefs they found it disturbing and appalling, some provocative statements that could create panic and stoke confusion in the society.

Wulugu Prof Nabila gave the advice at an end-of-year meeting of the NHC in Kumasi.

He said Ghanaians, globally are admired for their hospitality, peaceful behaviour, gentleness, and diplomacy and that everything must be done to sustain these sublime qualities.
